Book Three: Journey to the Mountain Series
In our last book, “The Mountain of God”, we will finally speak of the
heights of knowing the Lord. I say, “speak of”, for this is a
challenging work to try and put into words what it is to know the Lord
and to experience the rewards of such. These concepts are beyond
words at times and yet the Lord has given us his own Word to
illustrate things that are beyond our limited description. Those who
complete the difficult journey across the heat of the desert and
eventually tread on the heights of that sacred mountain will discover
a new source of power, strength, and vision. They will be filled with a
supernatural joy and a divine sense of purpose that only comes from
knowing the Lord. They will experience the awesome wonders of
coming to know the Lord and the rewards of being his faithful
servant.
“But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the
sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss
compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ
Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I
consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in
him” Philippians 3:7-9
